Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Lightly grease a 13x9 baking dish. In a large mixing bowl, cream together 1 stick butter and 1 ½ cups brown sugar. Add eggs one at a time, beating after each addition. In a small mixing bowl, sift 2 cups flour, baking soda, cinnamon and salt. Add to the sugar mixture, alternating with the sour cream and vanilla. Stir in apples. Pour into baking dish. Make crumb topping: Combine brown sugar, cinnamon, flour and butter with pasty cutter or fork. Sprinkle over cake and then bake until set 40-45 minutes. Remove and let cool 10 minutes. To make glaze: Combine brown sugar, vanilla and water until smooth. Drizzle over cooled cake and let harden slightly. Serve warm and enjoy!
