For Basic Cookie Dough recipe: Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In large mixing bowl, mix together melted butter, sugar, brown sugar, vanilla, and eggs. Add salt and baking soda For chocolate chip cookies - **add 3 - 3 1/2 cups flour. Mix well. Add 12oz pkg of chocolate chips and 1 cup chopped nuts (optional) Bake at 350 degrees for 11 minutes. Let cool for 2 minutes then remove from pan. Enjoy! Ideas and directions to create something different: For oatmeal/almond/cranberry cookies - **add 1 ½ cup flour and 3 cups old-fashioned oats. Mix well. Add 6 oz pkg of sliced almonds and 6oz pkg of craisins (dried cranberries). For German Chocolate chip cookies - **add 3 cups flour and 1/2 cup cocoa powder. Mix well. Add 12oz pkg chocolate chips, 1 cup chopped pecans and 1 cup Coconut. For stuffed cookies - Prepare your basic cookie dough Using a melon ball scoop, put one scoop on top and one scoop on bottom of (oreo, reese's or rolo's) Press dough around the sides to completely cover. Place on a cookie sheet covered with parchment paper and bake at 350 for 8-11 minutes For cookie Pops: Scoop your dough and roll into ball. Place a cake pop stick (I get mine from Michael's) into the dough and flatten cookie onto cookie sheet covered with parchment paper. Bake at 350 for 8-11 minutes. These would be great to serve at a party - cookies and milk. You can dip the baked cookie in chocolate and then roll in sprinkles for a more festive look.
