Black Bottom Cupcakes

Ingredients

1 pkg Devils Food Cake Mix

8oz pkg Cream Cheese, softened
1 egg
1/3 cup Sugar
1/8 tsp. Salt
1 cup miniature semi-sweet Chocolate Chips

2 cans Chocolate Frosting

1 can Cherry pie filling.

Instructions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line muffin tins with paper cups or lightly spray tins with non-stick cooking spray. In a medium mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese, egg, sugar , and salt until light and fluffy. Stir in chocolate chips and set aside. Prepare cake mix according to directions. Fill muffin tins 1/3 full with batter and top with a dollop of the cream cheese filling. Bake in preheated oven for 25 - 30 minutes. Let cool. Ice edges of cupcake with chocolate frosting leaving a hole in the middle. Place a dollop of cherry pie filling in the center of each cupcake. Enjoy!
