Garlic Mashed Potatoes

Ingredients

- 6 potatoes
- 2 garlic cloves
- 1/2 cup milk*
- 3 TB butter
- 4 oz cream cheese
- salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Bring a large pot of water to boil.

  2. Peel and quarter potatoes.

  3. Boil until soft, (pierce with a fork to check) about 25 minutes.

  4. Drain and place in a large bowl.

  5. Add butter, cream cheese, garlic, salt, and pepper. Mash with a potato masher. Add milk* slowly while mashing. They can get too runny easily.

*You can use half and half or whipping cream instead of milk for a creamier texture.
