Philly Cheesesteak

Ingredients

- 3 lbs sirloin, very thinly sliced
- Garlic salt and pepper to season meat
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 cup beef broth
- 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 yellow onion, thinly sliced
- 1 green bell pepper, thinly sliced
- 1 tbsp minced garlic
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 6-count package hoagie buns, toasted
- Shredded pepper jack cheese or any kind of white cheese


Instructions

  1. Season meat with garlic salt and pepper.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat.
  3. Add beef, and cook until cooked through, about 7-10 minutes.
  4. Add broth and Worcestershire sauce, and bring to a boil; reduce heat and simmer, stirring occasionally, for 15-25 minutes.
  5. In another skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat.
  6. Add onion, bell pepper, and garlic, stirring occasionally.
  7. Cook until tender.
  8. While meat is simmering and vegetables are cooking, grate cheese.
  9. Toast buns in oven.
  10. When meat and veggies are done, assemble sandwiches.
  11. Top sandwiches with grated cheese and return to oven until cheese is melted.
  12. Serve and enjoy!
