Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
In a mixing bowl, combine flour, 1 cup brown sugar, and ½ cup butter. Beat on low speed with electric mixer until mixture resembles coarse meal. Press mixture into ungreased 13x9 baking dish. Sprinkle with chopped pecans.
In a medium saucepan on medium heat, melt 1 cup butter; add ¾ cup brown sugar. Cook 3 minutes or until bubbles form around edges. Cook stirring constantly, 4 more minutes. Pour over pecans.
Bake for 22-25 minutes or until bubbly. Remove from oven and sprinkle chocolate chips evenly over top. Let stand until chips are softened, about 3 minutes. Swirl chips over surface to cover.
Cool completely. Chill 1 hour or until chocolate is set. Cut into bars. Enjoy!
