Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
Spray a 10" round cake pan with baker's joy.
Place a parchment paper circle in the bottom of the pan.
Combine all ingredients.
Pour all the batter into the prepared cake pan (1 cake mix makes one 10" layer).
Bake for 35 minutes.
Test and continue baking until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
Let cool for 15 minutes before removing from the pan.
Let cool completely and place on a cake round lined with parchment paper.
Wrap with saran wrap and place in the freezer until ready to assemble the cake.
Chantilly Cream Frosting directions:
Using a stand mixer, add cream cheese, powdered sugar, vanilla, and salt. Using a whisk attachment, start on low to combine ingredients then increase speed to medium high and beat for 3-4 minutes, stopping to scrape down the bowl and whisk as needed, until smooth (it will be very thick)
Add the heavy cream to the mixing bowl in 3 additions, mixing on medium low speed until combined. Then scrape down the bowl and whisk and mix on medium high speed for 1 minute until thick and frosting holds medium peaks. Keep icing refrigerated until ready to use.
