In a large mixing bowl, cream butter; gradually add powdered sugar, beating at a medium speed until light and fluffy.
Add egg, vanilla, almond extract, and food coloring; beat until blended.
In a small mixing bowl, combine flour and salt; add to creamed mixture, mixing well.
Spoon dough into a pastry bag and pipe mixture into shapes on an ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake at 400 degrees for 6-8 minutes. Remove to a wire rack to cool.
