Chicken Ziti

Cook Time: 35 minutes

Ingredients

- 8 oz uncooked penne or bow tie pasta
- ½ yellow onion, chopped
- 1 tsp minced garlic
- 1 TB olive oil
- 3 boneless chicken breasts, cut into bite-size pieces
- ¼ cup white wine
- ¼ cup chopped fresh basil
- 1 TB dried parsley flakes
- 10 oz jar Alfredo sauce
- ¾ cup sliced sun-dried tomatoes in olive oil, drained
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese, divided
- ¼ tsp pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

  2. Cook pasta according to package directions; drain.

  3. In a large skillet over medium heat, cook yellow onion and garlic in olive oil for 30 seconds.

  4. Add chicken and cook for 3 minutes or until no longer pink.

  5. Add wine, basil, and parsley; cook for 1 minute.

  6. In a large bowl, combine cooked pasta, chicken mixture, Alfredo sauce, tomatoes, ¼ cup of Parmesan cheese, and pepper.

  7. Spoon into a 9x13 baking dish that has been sprayed with cooking spray.

  8. Sprinkle with remaining ¼ cup Parmesan cheese.

  9. Cover and bake for 15 minutes.

  10. Uncover and bake an additional 10-15 minutes or until heated through.

  11. Serve and enjoy!
