Glazed Crackers

Ingredients

- 1 cup butter
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1/4 tsp Salt
- 1 cup chopped pecans
- 2 sleeves Ritz crackers, about 45 crackers
- 11oz chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

  2. Prepare a large cookie sheet with foil or parchment paper.

  3. Lightly spray with cooking spray

  4. Place cracker in a single layer cookie sheet

5.In a medium saucepan over medium heat, combine butter, sugar and salt.

  1. Bring to a boil,stirring occasionally.

  2. Once boiling, let boil for 5-7 minutes. Dont stir. Swirl pan to even out the color. You're wanting golden amber color.

  3. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract.

  4. Pour mixture over crackers. Use a spatula to spread over and cover the crackers evenly.

  5. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until bubbly, thickened and darker in color.

  6. Remove from oven and immediately sprinkle chocolate chips over crackers.

  7. Let sit for 5 minutes, then spread the chocolate chips over the crackers.

11.You can sprinkle chopped nuts or sprinkles on top if you wish.

  1. Let cool 2 hours so the chocolate will harden.
