Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Prepare a large cookie sheet with foil or parchment paper.
Lightly spray with cooking spray
Place cracker in a single layer cookie sheet
5.In a medium saucepan over medium heat, combine butter, sugar and salt.
Bring to a boil,stirring occasionally.
Once boiling, let boil for 5-7 minutes. Dont stir. Swirl pan to even out the color. You're wanting golden amber color.
Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract.
Pour mixture over crackers. Use a spatula to spread over and cover the crackers evenly.
Bake for 12-15 minutes or until bubbly, thickened and darker in color.
Remove from oven and immediately sprinkle chocolate chips over crackers.
Let sit for 5 minutes, then spread the chocolate chips over the crackers.
11.You can sprinkle chopped nuts or sprinkles on top if you wish.
