In a large mixing bowl, mix Rotel and tomatoes. Mash with a spoon, fork, or fingers.
Chop up onion, jalapeño (leave in seeds if you like it hot!), and cilantro. Add to the tomato and Rotel mixture. Add green chilis. Mix well.
Add chili powder, sugar, salt, and pepper. Taste and season as needed.
The longer it sets, the hotter it gets. Enjoy!
