Shrimp Scampi

Ingredients

- 10 oz pkg Thin Spaghetti
- 1-2 lbs unpeeled large fresh shrimp
- 8 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup Butter, melted
- 1 cup cooking White wine
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- 1/4 cup fresh chopped parsley

Instructions

To thaw shrimp:

  • Open package and rinse with cold water.
  • Place in ziplock baggie and squeeze the juice of 1 lemon on top. Seal bag and let defrost in refrigerator.
  1. Peel shrimp.
  2. Cook pasta according to package directions.
  3. In a large skillet over medium heat, combine butter, wine, and garlic. Stirring constantly, cook 4 minutes or until garlic begins to brown.
  4. Add shrimp and cook over medium heat 3-5 minutes or until shrimp turn pink.
  5. Add salt, pepper, and parsley.
  6. Serve over cooked spaghetti.
