Strawberry Jello Salad

Ingredients

- 2 cups crushed pretzels
- 3/4 cup butter, melted
- 1 tablespoon sugar

- 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 (9 oz) carton Cool Whip, softened

- 1 large box strawberry Jello
- 2 cups boiling water
- 2 frozen packages sliced strawberries

Instructions

Crust:

  1. In a large bowl, combine pretzels, butter, and sugar.
  2. Press into a 9x13 baking dish.
  3. Bake at 400 degrees for 8 minutes.
  4. Remove and chill.

Filling:

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, 1 cup sugar, and Cool Whip.
  2. Spread onto crust.

Topping:

  1. Bring 2 cups of water to a boil.
  2. Add jello, mix until dissolved.
  3. Add frozen strawberries, chill until it starts to thicken.
  4. Pour over cream cheese filling and then refrigerate.
