Stuffed Maple French Toast

Ingredients

- 12 slices Bread (Sandwich slices)
- 6 eggs
- 1 ½ cups Milk
- ½ cup Maple Syrup

**Cream Cheese Filling:**
- 8 oz Cream Cheese, softened
- 1 cup Brown Sugar
- 1 Egg
- 1 tsp Vanilla
- Pinch of Salt
- ½ cup chopped Walnuts, optional

Instructions

Created on November 3rd, 2006

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, brown sugar, egg, vanilla, and salt. Mix well. Stir in nuts.
  2. Spread cream cheese filling on top of 6 slices of bread, then top with another piece of bread (making a sandwich).
  3. Cut sandwiches into 1” cubes.
  4. Spray a 9x13 baking dish with Pam.
  5. Place bread cubes in baking dish.
  6. In a medium mixing bowl, combine milk, 6 eggs, and maple syrup.
  7. Pour over bread cubes.
  8. Sprinkle with cinnamon sugar.
  9. Cover and refrigerate overnight.
  10. The next morning, preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  11. Bake, uncovered, for 30 - 45 minutes.
  12. Serve warm and Enjoy!
