Warm Winter Lemon Cake

Cook Time: 60 minutes

Ingredients

- 1 Yellow Cake Mix*depending on what cake mix you use - you will need additional ingredients to make the cake batter)

- 2 cups Cold Milk
- 1 1/4 cups Water
- 2 pkg (4 serving size) Jell-O lemon flavor Instant Pudding Mix
- 1/3 cup Sugar
- 2 TB Powdered Sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

  2. Prepare cake batter as directed on package. Pour into greased and floured 9x13 baking dish.

  3. In a large bowl, combine milk and water. Add pudding mix and sugar. Beat with electric mixer for 2 minutes.

  4. Pour over cake batter.

  5. Place baking dish on baking sheet to catch any sauce that might bubble over sides.

  6. Bake 55 - 60 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool 20 minutes. (Sauce will thicken slightly)

  7. Sprinkle with powdered sugar. Spoon into serving dishes to serve warm.

  8. Refrigerate leftovers. Enjoy!
