Wash and cut ends off green beans. Cut in half if desired.
Place green beans in sauce pan. Cover with water. Place lid on pan.
On high heat, bring to a boil and cook until green beans turn bright green. About 7 minutes.
Remove from heat. Drain and rinse in cold water.
Chop garlic. Set aside.
In a large skillet over medium heat, melt butter with olive oil.
Add garlice and cook until light golden, stirring frequently.
Stir in green beans and season with salt and pepper.
Cook until beans are tender, about 10 minutes.
Remove from heat, sprinkle with Parmesan Cheese before serving. Enjoy!
