Pumpkin Bread

Ingredients

- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 1/2 cup shortening
- 3 cups sugar
- 3 eggs
- 29 oz can solid-pack pumpkin
- 3 cups flour
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp ginger
- 1/2 tsp nutmeg
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tsp ground cloves

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Grease and flour 2 loaf pans or 6 mini loaf pans.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, cream butter, shortening, and sugar.
  4. Beat in eggs, one at a time.
  5. Add pumpkin, flour, salt, baking soda, baking powder, ginger, cinnamon, cloves, and nutmeg.
  6. Pour into pans and bake for 1 hour for loaf pans or 30 minutes for mini-loaf pans.
  7. Let cool for 15 minutes before removing from pans.
  8. Enjoy!
