Fried Rice



Ingredients

- 2 cups water
- 2 cups Minute Rice
- 1 egg
- 1 TB Olive Oil
- 4 green onions, optional

*Additional vegetable suggestions:*

- Zucchini
- Broccoli
- Carrots
- Bell peppers

- 3 TB Butter
- 2 TB Sesame Seeds
- Soy Sauce
- Salt
- Pepper

Instructions

  1. Bring 2 cups of water to a boil. (Leave lid on pan to bring to a boil faster.) Turn off heat and add 2 cups rice. Place lid on pan and let sit covered for 5 minutes.

  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Crack egg and scramble. Season with salt and pepper. Chop green onions and any other vegetables; add to egg. Cook for 3-4 minutes, allowing veggies to soften.

  3. Add rice, butter, soy sauce, and sesame seeds. Mix together and season with salt and pepper. Cover pan with lid and cook for 3 minutes. Remove lid and stir. Cover pan and let cook for another 3 minutes.

  4. Rice is finished when it starts to turn a golden brown. Serve with egg rolls and enjoy!
