In a large sauce pan, bring water to a boil. Add macaroni and pinch of salt. Boil for 6-8 minutes. Drain water from macaroni and set aside.
In the same pan, add milk, butter and velvetta cheese. Add macaroni and stir. Cook till cheese is melted.
