Praline Pecan Cake Private

Ingredients

- 1 pkg Butter Pecan Cake Mix
- 1 container Coconut Pecan Frosting
- 4 eggs
- 3/4 cup Vegetable Oil
- 1 cup Water
- 1 cup Chopped Pecans (divided)
- 1/2 cup Brown Sugar

Instructions

Created on March 13th, 2011

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

  2. Grease and flour a Bundt pan. (I use Baker's Joy spray)

  3. In a small bowl, combine 1/2 cup chopped pecans and 1/2 cup brown sugar.

  4. Sprinkle into the bottom of the prepared bundt pan.

  5. In a large mixing bowl, combine cake mix, frosting, eggs, oil, water, and the remaining 1/2 cup of chopped pecans.

  6. Mix well on medium speed for 2 minutes.

  7. Pour batter into prepared bundt pan.

  8. Bake for 50 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. (I started checking at 45 minutes)

  9. Let cool for 15 minutes before removing cake from pan.

  10. Enjoy!
