Cheesesteak Sandwiches

Cook Time: 20 minutes

Ingredients

- 1 Tbsp Olive Oil
- 1 Pound Top Round Steak, Trimmed and thinly sliced (ask your butcher to do this)
- 2 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce, divided
- 1 Yellow Onion, thinly sliced
- 1 Green Bell Pepper, thinly sliced
- 1 1/2 tsp Salt
- 1 1/2 tsp Pepper
- 1 tsp Garlic Powder
- 6 slices Provolone Cheese, torn into small pieces
- 4 Hoagies

Instructions

Created on January 31st, 2011

Preheat oven to 225 degrees.
Wrap hoagies in foil and warm while preparing meat.
In a large skillet, heat oil over medium-high heat.
Add steak and 1 Tbsp Worcestershire Sauce, salt, pepper, and garlic powder, cook for 5 minutes or until steak is browned.
Remove steak from pan, set aside in a warm oven.
Add onion, bell pepper, and remaining 1 Tbsp Worcestershire Sauce to skillet.
Cook for 8 minutes or until onion slices are translucent.
Return cooked steak to skillet with onion mixture.
Reduce heat to low, add provolone cheese.
Cook until cheese melts, stirring constantly.
Divide steak mixture among hoagies and serve warm.
