BBQ baked Beans Private

Ingredients

1 lb Bacon, cut into pieces and cooked
1 can Black Beans, drained
1 can Dark Red Kidney beans, drained
3 - 15oz cans Pork and beans
1 Red Onion, finely chopped
1 Red Bell Pepper, finely chopped
4 tsp. Minced Garlic
3 jalapeno peppers, finely chopped - seeds removed (if you like it hot, leave the seeds)
1 Bottle BBQ Sauce (We use Sweet Baby Ray)
1 1/2 cup Brown Sugar
1/2 cup Dijon Mustard
2 tsp. Liquid Smoke

Instructions

Created on June 17th, 2013

Preheat oven to 325 degrees.

In a large oven-safe pot, combine all ingredients.

**I cut my bacon into pieces and then cook it. Saving a TB of the grease, I add it to the beans for flavor.

Stir well and place in oven.

Bake 1 1/2 hours to 2 hours, stirring every so often.
