Butter Toffee Pretzels

Ingredients

1 bag salted pretzels
¼ tsp. Salt
½ cup Butter
½ cup Sugar
½ cup Light Corn Syrup
½ cup Brown Sugar
¼ tsp. Baking Soda
3 TB Butter Flavoring

Instructions

Created on November 28th, 2006

Preheat oven to 225 degrees.
Place pretzels into a large bowl.
In a saucepan over medium low heat; combine corn syrup, sugar, brown sugar, salt and butter.
When mixture starts to bubble, place lid on pan for 30 seconds.
Remove lid and stir.
Continue cooking and let boil for 5 minutes. Stir frequently.
Remove from heat and add baking soda. Mix well.
Add butter flavoring and mix well.
Pour toffee mixture over pretzels. Stir, making sure pretzels are all coated.
Place pretzels in oven. Bake for 60 minutes; stirring every 15.
Remove from oven and pour onto wax paper. Let cool and store in airtight container. Enjoy!
