Buttery Almond Crunch


1/2 cup Butter softened
1/2 cup Sugar
1 TB light Corn syrup
1 cup Sliced Almonds

Butter to grease pan and saucepan.

Grease a foil 9x12 baking pan with butter. Coat thoroughly.

Using butter, coat sides of saucepan.

Add 1/2 cup butter, corn syrup and sugar.

Bring to a boil over medium high heat, stirring constantly.

Cook and stir until mixture is golden brown, about 5 minutes.

Remove from heat and stir in almonds.

Quickly pour into prepared pan, spreading as thin as possible.

Refrigerate until firm.

Invert pan and break candy into pieces.

Store in airtight container.
