Peanut Butter Brownies

Cook Time: 45 minutes

Ingredients

- 2 sticks Butter, softened
- 1 3/4 cups Sugar
- 1 cup Creamy Peanut Butter*
- 2 large Eggs plus 1 Yolk
- 2 tsp Vanilla
- 2 cups All-purpose Flour
- 1 1/2 cups Chocolate Chips
- 1/2 tsp Salt

- 1 tsp Butter to grease pan

*If you like nuts, you can use crunchy peanut butter

Instructions

Created on October 8th, 2007

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Line a 9x13 baking pan with foil. Grease with 1 tsp Butter.

In a large mixing bowl, beat together butter and sugar at medium high speed until mixture is light and fluffy, then add peanut butter and beat until blended well.

Beat in eggs, egg yolk, and vanilla.

At low speed, add flour and salt, mixing until just combined.

Stir in chocolate chips.

Spread batter into prepared baking pan (this should be a thick batter). Smooth the top until all batter is level in the pan.

Bake until brownies are golden, about 40 - 45 minutes.

Let cool completely before cutting.
