24 hour Omelette


1 loaf Challah Bread
1 stick Butter
8 ounces Cream Cheese, room temperature
¾ pounds Grated Cheddar Cheese or cheese of your choice
8 whole Eggs
2 cups Milk
½ teaspoons Salt
½ teaspoons Dry Mustard
1 dash Cayenne Pepper
1 Tablespoon Garlic, Minced


Created on January 29th, 2014

Tear bread in chunks.
Place evenly in a well greased 9x13 casserole dish.
Melt butter and pour it over the bread.

Beat together all ingredients.

Pour over the bread.

Cover and refrigerate overnight.

Bake covered in an oven preheated to 325F for one hour or until egg mixture is set.

Uncover for the last 10 minutes of baking time.

**You can add a layer of cooked meat or vegetables over the bread, if you want.
